Changzhou Spatialsmart Technologies (CST) Inc. is a software development and consulting firm specializing in satellite image processing, analysis and applications.
Incorporated in 2007 with headquarters in Changzhou, China, CST also has an office in Ottawa, Canada. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions to customers in the fields of remote sensing, GIS, water resources management and urban planning, to help them visualize and understand critical events in time to take effective action.
CST is currently seeking software engineers with a proven background in remote sensing for full-time employment. These exciting and challenging positions will work on designing, developing and testing of a software platform for SAR data processing and analysis.

Position 1
Job Specifications and Work Performed:

Participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
Participation in peer review of documentation and code.
Cooperate with product management and other company departments to ensure product related milestones are achieved.
Some travel may be required.

A B.S. degree, preferably in CE, EE, CS, RS, Math, Physics, or equivalent, with 5-10 years experience, a MS degree with 4-8 years experience, or a PhD with 2-6 years experience is required.

Required Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience in developing state-of-art software for commercial applications using C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
Extensive experience in software system design and architecture.
In-depth knowledge of remote sensing, signal /image processing algorithms and data analysis.
Strong mathematical skills (linear algebra, computational geometry, and advanced statistics).
Experience using Visual Studio, .NET, MFC, OpenGL, and IDL is a plus.
Good communications skills, both written and oral are essential.

Position 2

Some travel may be required.

Required Skills and Experience:

Software development experience with C, C++, Java, HTML, JavaScript.

In-depth knowledge of remote sensing, signal /image processing algorithms and data analysis.

Strong mathematical skills (linear algebra, computational geometry, and advanced statistics).

Experience using Visual Studio, .NET, MFC, OpenGL, and IDL is a plus.

Good communications skills, both written and verbal are essential.
